At GMV Auction, we aim to keep the auction and payment process simple, clear, and transparent. Please read this policy before making a payment or placing a bid.
1. Auction Fees
Registration, participation, processing, and other auction-related fees are generally non-refundable once paid, unless GMV Auction specifically states otherwise or a refund is required by applicable law.
2. EMD / Security Deposit
If an auction requires an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), its refund will be handled according to the terms of that particular auction. Eligible unsuccessful bidders will generally receive their deposit back after the auction process is completed.
The EMD may be forfeited if a successful bidder fails to complete the purchase or does not follow the applicable auction terms.
3. Successful Bids
Once a bid is accepted as the winning bid, it is generally considered a commitment to purchase. Cancellation simply because the bidder has changed their mind or no longer wishes to purchase the asset may not be eligible for a refund.
4. Failed or Duplicate Payments
If money is deducted from your account but the payment is not successfully recorded by GMV Auction, please contact us with your transaction details.
After verification, we will take the necessary steps to process an eligible refund.
5. Auction Cancellation
If GMV Auction cancels or postpones an auction, any eligible refund will be processed according to the terms applicable to that particular auction.
6. Due Diligence
Bidders are responsible for checking the available information, documents, condition, and other details of an asset before placing a bid.
A refund may not be provided simply because the purchased asset does not meet the bidder's expectations.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be sent to the original payment method used for the transaction. The time taken for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank, payment gateway, or payment service provider.
8. How to Request a Refund
For any payment or refund-related request, please contact GMV Auction through our official contact channels.

- Registered Email Address
- Registered Mobile Number
- Auction ID or Transaction ID
- Payment Details
- Reason for the Refund Request
All refund requests will be reviewed based on the applicable auction terms and the circumstances of the request.
